Fire Walk With Me Tour vol. 1 Poster

Norway is a country known for its diverse and creative metal scene. Amber Booking have started a new concept that we call "Fire Walk With Me". This is a tour package with a metal band that will make a series of concerts in Norway. "Fire Walk With Me" will appear several times a year, and will hold concerts at various locations in Norway. What type of band and of the nationality will vary. The goal is to present the fat metal bands in fat packages year round. The first edition will be in November, and then we have collected three of the strongest and most interesting bands in Norway today, Vreid, Einherjer and Cirith. This firework of a package will make seven concerts together as Volume 1 of "Fire Walk With Me" presented by Amber Booking with Metal Hammer Norway.

The poster will feature a new Norwegian animal skull every time, this time, for vol. 1 it's a brown bear.

By coincidence I stumbled upon the master protagonist of Norwegian Skateboard brand- Shit, Frode Goa and we got to talking. -And before I knew it, I was working on a Horror deck series for the rising company. The plan was to get the boards out before Halloween, but production was unfortunately delayed. The boards will be available in neon green, neon pink and silver.

My friend Martin Holm have been doing the visual profile for OSFF a couple of years now, and he asked me if I wanted to have an exhibit there this year. And so I did.
After a hectic race to get things ready, the exhibit were a hit.
3 Big canvases (A1) and 6 smaller (30x30cm). I took hold of a simple but never ending concept; the discussion theme of witch monster will win? I tried out some new styles and had fun making the exhibit. All in all a good run.

So we took the pattern from the packaging, used it as pixels and made a Brazillian Flag the key of the artwork in the campaign. The original packaging was made by Bjørn Rybakken at Tangram. Stripe made the movies.

Farm House contacted me a while back and wanted me to come and work with them in beautiful Stryn. It turned out that I got the simple task to develop a visual profile, illustrations and co-develop a concept. The client was T.I.P, or Norsk Industri.
T.I.P stands for technological industry and production, an educational branch with many sub genres. So, in cooperation with Farm House, I developed one main logo, and seven sub-logos, a character for each branch and all the profile elements. Also a recruiting-stunt involving the main T.I.P character.

As mentioned before, I was lucky enough to be a part of by:larm's Nisjelandet 09.
The canvases I exhibited were big illustrations inspired by a gigposter mentality. They spanned over 2 x 1,5 meters, printed on nylon canvases.
I also made t-shirts with the same prints in a very limited edition. Each print had 3 t-shirts, in two gender-models, only one in each size.
The exhibit went well, and truly was an amazing experience. Thanks Nisjelandet!

Discovery Channel, Hemsedal Illustration

TBWA contacted me and asked if I could help them with an illustration for Discovery Channel that was going to hang at Hemsedal Ski resort. The project was fun and proved to be quite large. The finished board was over 5 meters long and over 2 meters high, with around 30-40 illustrations. The point was to highlight the off-slope rides, and illustrate the name of each place.

The El Cuero Album, A Glimmer of Hope just came from the printers, and will hit the shops the 6Th of Oct. A beautiful digipack with a sleeve, all a nice, solid package. And the album is great!

Pipedream have just released their first single, and have a show at Rockefeller soon. In that regard, they asked me if I could make some new shirts for them that wasn't based on their demo-cover art.

I was asked to do a series of props and logos being used in the new Knerten og Lillebror movie. All taking place in the 60's.
Based on the Knerten & Lillebror books by Anne-Cath. Vestly.
Fun to be involved in such a project.

El Cuero's new album; A Glimmer of hope will come out October 6Th. And here is a sneak preview of the front of the cover. It'll be a digipack with slipcase featuring artwork created by yours truly together with L-P Lorentzen. I can't wait. And in the shadows of that release, the new and the debut album will come out on vinyl!

Smartfish Illustration

2008 Scandinavia asked me for help on a project they had going on for Smartfish. -The new Omega 3 fruit drink, with Terje Håkonsen as one of the highest speaking profiles.
The project was to make a double page illustration for a special edition of the Skier Magazine. Witch is 70 x 49 cm! And we ended up with a weird illustration based on the mix between fish and fruit... Fun stuff. Thanks Martin.
