My first customized shoes for this season. For a super sweet girl, some super sweet shoes. Candy feet! yey. hehe. I forgot how much fun this was. Looking forward to doing some more of this type of work this summer.

Robert Post T-shirt & flyer

Robert Post called me up, and asked me if I could help him out with some merch and a nifty post-card sized flyer for his upcoming gig with Jazon Mraz. And this is how I visualised Robert's world.

King of the Hill is going to talk about starting a business to some students at OHG. And he's going to give away some shirts for some of the students. A bit of a rush-project, this. But it turned out pretty ok.

KOTH (king of the hill) Profile elements 1

KOTH, or King of the Hill just released a new profile and website. (web crafted together by Martin Holm, thanks.) We thought to have it simple, but trying to keep it real like new old school. Whatever that means.
It's been a fun project, and it's still not 100% finished. But some elements are. It's a continuing process, and more elements for the store is bound to pop up.

Back to the Future, with the Royal Family.

The sweet guys at DIST asked me to help them with a job they had going on. The client turned out to be the The Crown Prince and Crown Princess’ Humanitarian Fund. I was pretty stoked about that. The project was a illustration brief. An ad, and some elements for a website for the competition they were having. See the website here. You'll see the ad and some details below.

Blodbanken T-shirts

The good chaps at Anorak asked me to help them with the graphics for Blodbanken Oslo's t-shirts. The kind you get after donating blood. They have a whole, every-day-hero going on, and so the prints would represent that in some way. One color for girls and one for boys.

By:Larm 09 Exhibition

As mentioned before, I was lucky enough to be a part of by:larm's Nisjelandet 09.
The canvases I exhibited were big illustrations inspired by a gigposter mentality. They spanned over 2 x 1,5 meters, printed on nylon canvases.
I also made t-shirts with the same prints in a very limited edition. Each print had 3 t-shirts, in two gender-models, only one in each size.
The exhibit went well, and truly was an amazing experience. Thanks Nisjelandet!

The Last Heat Limited ed. Demo cover

The first batch of The Last Heat covers are finished. Some technical problems were accoutered, but everything turned out pretty good. 55 special limited edition covers in beautiful cardboard with logo, stamps, stickers and seals. Pics of the process HERE.

Kite T-shirt

Kite was in need of some new merch, and so we made this shirt, based on the previous poster and backdrop-design.

Discovery Channel, Hemsedal Illustration

TBWA contacted me and asked if I could help them with an illustration for Discovery Channel that was going to hang at Hemsedal Ski resort. The project was fun and proved to be quite large. The finished board was over 5 meters long and over 2 meters high, with around 30-40 illustrations. The point was to highlight the off-slope rides, and illustrate the name of each place.
Below you can see some of the illustrations up close.

Wow. It's getting more and more exciting to be a part of this year's Nisjelandet. It's basically the "arty" part of the Norwegian music festival By:Larm. And for the occasion, I'll exhibit a small collection of large poster-art inspired illustrations.

New Cover Teaser...

It's not long to go before this hits the printers, but I'm very exited about it, so I have to show a "teaser". The band remains un-named, but it's going to be one hell of a record.

Ping & Major Parkinson Poster

The guys from Ping asked me to do a poster for their upcoming show alongside Major Parkinson. And with good time, now, we finished. There might come some small changes, you never know. But I hope not.
I had a lot of fun on this one. A lot of absurdities left un-scanned, and the typo in the middle was a laugh. fun stuff!

Early -the Cumshots Sketches

Now It's not long before the new Cumshots record cover is finished, and as a teaser, I thought I'd might show some early sketches, since we were in the process of picking style.
This however, is not the style that is going to be on the cover. But you might get some hints :)

Young Fogertys Merch

The band Young Fogertys, consisting of members from bands like the Cumshots, El Cuero and Shit City, plays cover versions of Creedence Clearwater Revival songs. Since I have had contact with the prior bands, they asked me to do a shirt for them. Based on the traditional baseball raglan shirt and retro with a twist mentality, this is what we ended up with.

Knut Reiersrud Band Cover Complete

Now, the Knut Reiersrud Band record, "voodoo without killing chicken", have been out a little while, -and gotten some great reviews by the way. So I thought it was about time to show the whole thing. Made by Awknard and me. Look out for the vinyl, also.

The El Cuero Album, A Glimmer of Hope just came from the printers, and will hit the shops the 6Th of Oct. A beautiful digipack with a sleeve, all a nice, solid package. And the album is great!

Sidewalk Surfing Pitch

Here is a board for the upcoming Sidewalk Surfing. I made the graphics and logo, and now it's just to sit down and wait and see if the various sporting goods stores will take the chance for next season.

El Cuero - A Glimmer of Hope

El Cuero's new album; A Glimmer of hope will come out October 6Th. And here is a sneak preview of the front of the cover. It'll be a digipack with slipcase featuring artwork created by yours truly together with L-P Lorentzen. I can't wait. And in the shadows of that release, the new and the debut album will come out on vinyl!

Now I'm right about finished with all my paintings for this years Rockart ART exhibition.

Smartfish Illustration

2008 Scandinavia asked me for help on a project they had going on for Smartfish. -The new Omega 3 fruit drink, with Terje Håkonsen as one of the highest speaking profiles.
The project was to make a double page illustration for a special edition of the Skier Magazine. Witch is 70 x 49 cm! And we ended up with a weird illustration based on the mix between fish and fruit... Fun stuff. Thanks Martin.

Rockart 08 Profile

Holmestrand's pride, Rockart, -a festival with focus on Norwegian rock and contemporary art and design, asked me to help them with their visual profile. And based on the previous years profiles, and the municipality crest, I illustrated a more "rocked" eagle and used the messy parts of splatter-art to make this years elements. I'm also exhibiting at the festival with some new paintings. (More to come).

For the summer, stratos is having a DJ and party every day and the event requires redesign here and there, and a lot of promotional material. So I went ahead and made a typeface for the event. Inspired by Herb Lubalin's Avant Garde type.

Speech bubble Workout

As our last job at Reaktor ID Oslo, we made a campaign for Ventelo Bedrift, called Snakkeboble Workout. (Speech bubble workout). All illustrations were made by yours truly, and you can See small animations of them in web-banners, their website, and the screens on board the train going to the airports here in Oslo. We also made a radio spot, T-shirts, buttons, stickers and roll-ups. You can see some examples below.

I was asked by Tommy Reite from El Cuero, to do some T-shirt sketches for his other band, The Cumshots. And I certainly was ready for the task. After a little bunch of ideas, they decided to make three of my designs! Fun stuff. You can see them below, and buy them at their gigs soon.

Andreas Markusson and his book, første gang jeg døde was on national (NRK frokost TV) tv just the other day. In occasion of the Cannes film festival. He was also on natinal radio.
So weird to see my design on the tv screen.

Soria Moria Programposter May

Programs for Soria Moria will now be made in a handy format of a little pocketbook. Now we didn't have time to do that for may, so we made a poster of it instead. Keep eyes peeled for the next month's issues of the program folder. Same look as the poster.

Classy Celebration at Stratos

My first job for Stratos. Posters and flyers for the stuff happening there at the 16Th and 17Th of may. 16Th is a late night club-like party, and the 17Th is more of a daytime event, with some stuff happening in the evening. Anyways. Stratos is a high building and sky was a natural choice. The poster has the ability to be separated, or hung up together.

Hamburgerfont

I was asked to do a quick favor for a colleague, "just write something here about burgers and the price..." And I wanted to do something fun for the kids who are going to see this. For fun, pasted the prints up on a BIG cardboard. So tacky it's fun :P
